Diamonds

We have the proper tools and technology to examine the value of your diamond.

We buy natural diamonds, whether they are jewelry such as rings or other items of all carats. The value of your diamond will depend on the assessment of the 4Cs: Color, clarity, cut and carat weight.

Color: The absence of color is the most appreciated characteristic in any white diamond. We determine the transparency of a diamond by using a color scale or the scale established by the GIA (Gemological Institute of America) that divides the color grades from D to Z.

Clarity: Clarity refers to the tiny natural imperfections called “inclusions” that are present in all but the finest diamonds.

Cut: Light reflection and glare are directly determined by the quality of the cut, symmetry and polish. A diamond shines and sparkles according to its cut. This is the only criterion among the 4Cs that depends on human expertise.

Carat weight: The size of diamonds is measured in carats, where each unit is equivalent to 0.2 grams. Diamonds are traded at a price per carat. This price varies exponentially with the weight of the stone.

These conditions only apply to diamonds over 0.50 carats. The purchase and value of diamonds below 0.50 carats are determined by weight.
